BANGALORE: The state government has taken a major decision in the interest of students in the wake of the deadly Kovid 19. The first and second year students studying in other undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma classes including engineering in 2019-20 are scheduled to pass the exam. The government has instructed the students to pass them on the basis of internal marks.
Final year students must write the exam But the exam is only for final year graduate students. Final year PG students will be tested online by the end of September, Higher Education Minister Dr Ashwath Narayana said.
This important decision has been made after regular consultations with academics and VVs Chancellors taking into account the health and future of the students. The recommendations of the UGC and its regulations are taken into account before taking a decision.
This decision is limited to the current academic year (2019-20). Governor Vajubhai Wala, who is also the Chancellor of the government, has given the green light, said Higher Education Minister and Deputy Minister of State Dr Dassanayake. C.N. Ashwaththanarayana said.
The passing marks will be calculated On the biases of the 50% Internal Assignment And 50% of Previous Exam Marks. it applied for the all the Karnataka UG ,PG and Diploma Students.
if final year student have any backlogs in this previous semester he/she can take up exam now and for others backlogs subject will not be cleared
