Bangalore University has postponed all exams which were scheduled to begin from April 19 till further orders. All BU exams — undergraduate, postgraduate and engineering exams—have been postponed due to the second wave of the Covid-19 and the large number of new cases arising.
Moreover, there are transportation and mobility issues being seen as well due to the lock down and curfews in various states and the ongoing bus strike as mentioned by Bangalore University Vice Chancellor Venugopal KR.
Major universities across Karnataka, including Bangalore University, have postponed the examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses scheduled to be held on April 19. The decision was taken due to the strike called by the workers of road transport corporations & increasing in Covid Crises .

Reasons For Postponed
- The employees of road transport corporations decided to go on a strike on wage-related issues from Wednesday
- The decision has been taken in view of the ongoing second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic
