FINAL YEAR EXAMS: NEXT HEARING ON AUG 10, SC
SC, Supreme Court of India would be hearing the request against the UGC, University Grant Commission choice for obligatory final year exams while different HCs are hearing cases individually regarding the examination.
Lakhs of final year students are still waiting for the last decision on the college final year exams order as set somewhere around the UGC in the updated Test Rules for 2020. Quoting Advocate Singhvi in SC said on UGC Guidelines that the New Guidelines by UGC made it more difficult for students. Some of the universities require basic IT infrastructure to hold online open-book exams. It is not possible to conduct the online mode of exam. Supreme Court added that guidelines provide for both online and offline.
